CA Pravin Dhandharia, has been practicing Chartered Accountant for over 22 years and achieved an exemption score in Indirect Taxes in the CA Final Exams. He is the founder partner of M/s. Shah Dhandharia & Co. Chartered Accountants, Ahmedabad.

Specializing in Service Tax and GST, he handles various procedural assignments, including audits, preventive measures, DGGI, appellate, and routine judicial matters for clients across a wide range of sectors such as Construction and Infrastructure, Automobiles, Manufacturing, Finance, Information Technology, Health and Pharmaceuticals, Hospitality, and more.

He has contributed as a speaker at numerous seminars conducted by the Ahmedabad, Baroda, Bhavnagar, Jamnagar, and Guntur branches of ICAI, as well as the CA Association and Service Tax Department on topics related to Service Tax and GST. He is on the panel of speakers declared by ICAI, New Delhi, and actively contributes as a speaker on GST at various forums, including the Ahmedabad and Bhavnagar branches of WIRC of ICAI, training sessions held by MSME (Central Government), training sessions jointly held by Central Excise Ahmedabad and VAT Department, and corporate training programs.

He has held several notable positions, such as Co-opted Member of the Indirect Tax Committee at ICAI, New Delhi for FY 2023-2024, and Special Invitee for FY 2024-2025. He has also been the Convener of Sub-Committees at the Ahmedabad Branch of WIRC of ICAI from FY 2022-2023 to FY 2024-2025, and a Committee Member of the Indirect Tax Committee of the CA Association, Ahmedabad for FY 2022-2023. Additionally, he has served as a Committee Member of the Indirect Tax Committee of GCCI, Ahmedabad from FY 2022-2023 to FY 2024-2025.

He has been a core team coordinator for RRC’s from the Ahmedabad Branch of WIRC of ICAI on Service Tax/GST for over a decade and has coordinated various study and practice groups at ICAI Ahmedabad. His professional contributions extend to the media, where he has shared his views in newspapers, participated in live TV debates, and written numerous articles for publications such as Service Tax Today by Taxmann.
